When it comes to innovative energy solutions, the combination of electricity and heat is becoming increasingly important. For example, the Viessmann Vitovolt photovoltaic system supplies solar energy not only to home and consumer electronics and electric vehicles, but also to electricity-powered heat generators, such as heat pumps. Vitocharge storage systems, when paired with photovoltaic systems, provide even greater self-sufficiency. This is because they provide electricity even when the sun doesn't shine.
Solar energy can also be used for heating. If the system technology includes solar thermal energy, the energy generated can be used for domestic hot water and for combined backup central heating. Combining storage systems with Vitosol solar thermal systems also allows for optimal use of thermal energy according to individual requirements.
Viessmann's system technology also enables the combination of renewable and fossil fuels, facilitating the transition to sustainable integrated solutions. In hybrid systems, the innovative Hybrid Pro Control energy manager automatically selects the most efficient operating mode—either a conventional or renewable heat generator—by the control system. With Vitoconnect, Viessmann appliances that don't yet have a built-in web interface can be controlled via an app. Vitoconnect connects directly to the Vitotronic control unit. However, the latter allows for comprehensive and intuitive control of small boilers, wall-mounted appliances, mid-sized boilers, and heat pumps, even without an internet connection. Viessmann Warme: Simply rent a new heat pump, gas, or oil condensing heating system. Various heating packages allow you to tailor the system to your individual needs. Heating system maintenance and repairs are always included in the monthly costs.
Viessmann Strom: Rental of a new photovoltaic system and additional components, such as energy storage units, wall units, and heat pumps. The all-inclusive support package includes a full warranty, insurance, maintenance, repairs, and administrative services.
With the ViShare energy community, you become part of an even larger system that works together to advance the energy transition. It allows you to contribute electricity generated by your photovoltaic systems or fuel cells to the community and purchase 100% green electricity from them if your own production is insufficient. However, you don't have to generate your own electricity to become part of the ViShare energy community. You can also purchase green electricity for household use and heating at appropriate rates if your complete Viessmann system doesn't include any power-generating components.
