The Vitocal 350-A air-source heat pump is ideal for retrofitting thanks to its flow temperature of up to 65 °C
The Vitocal 350-A air source heat pump with a thermal output rating of 12.7 to 20.6 kW is particularly suitable for retrofit projects. Thanks to the improved steam injection during the compression process (EVI cycle), flow temperatures of up to 65 °C can be achieved – even at windy outside temperatures. This means that Vitocal 350-A is also suitable for installation in older heating systems with radiators. To increase efficiency, we recommend replacing individual radiators with ultra-low temperature ones.
The Vitotronic 200 control unit has an integrated cascading function for up to five air source heat pumps. A heat output of up to 92.5 kW is therefore possible to meet high heat demands.
Depending on the system configuration, the higher flow temperature allows the water temperature in the DHW cylinder to reach a temperature of up to 55 °C. This allows the Vitocal 350-A to provide a particularly high level of DHW convenience. Vitocal 350-A achieves a high flow temperature of 65°C even at an outdoor temperature of -10°C.
An electronic expansion valve and RCD (refrigerant cycle diagnostics) system ensure the extremely high level of efficiency of Vitocal 350-A throughout the year. It provides a high COP of up to 4.0 (according to EN 14511 at A7/W35). This ensures a high annual efficiency and very low operating costs.
Vitocal 350-A can be installed both indoors and outdoors. The three-stage radial fan of the heat pump is particularly quiet. In addition, the flow-optimized air ducts and sound-insulated housing also make the Vitocal 350-A extremely quiet. During night operation, the multi-stage fan control unit further reduces the fan speed and thus the noise level.
The EHPA quality mark serves as a confirmation of COP (coefficient of efficiency). The German EHPA Quality Mark Committee has confirmed that the Vitocal 350-A heat pump from Viessmann meets the requirements of the EHPA quality mark.
