The compact, fully automatic Vitoligno 300-C pellet boiler is an efficient solution for new and existing buildings with a wide range of applications, from low-energy homes to facilities requiring higher heat output. It offers versatile and flexible supply options for virtually any application and stands out for its compact design, ideal for spaces with low ceilings.
In the power range from 2.4 to 48 kW, the pellet boiler modulates in a ratio of 1:3 (only one third of the nominal heating output) and is distinguished by impressively low energy consumption.

Features of Vitoligno 300-C
The Vitoligno 300-C achieves a pellet-fueled heat efficiency of up to 95.3 percent. Innovative combustion technology allows the Vitoligno 300-C to maintain low dust levels and comply with Stage 1 of the German BImSchV 2 standard. The Vitoligno 300-C is extremely easy to operate, making pellet heating extremely convenient. Almost everything is automated, from loading pellets to cleaning.
Pellets are fed into the Vitoligno 300-C either via a flexible screw conveyor or a vacuum system. Pellet boilers with outputs up to 12 kW are standardly equipped with a vacuum system for automatic pellet unloading from storage. However, the 8 and 12 kW versions can also be quickly and easily converted from automatic to manual loading. Therefore, commercial pellet bags can be used for manual loading, for example, if there is insufficient space in the pellet storage room.
The pellet boiler (8 and 12 kW) offers flexible and compact placement, as all components are easily accessible for maintenance and repair. Ideally, it should be installed in a corner of the boiler room. Viessmann offers a full range of accessories for pellet storage and transportation, all from a single source.
Pellets burn with minimal residueâand the Vitoligno 300-C pellet boiler takes care of even that automatically. The fully automatic cleaning of the rotary grate in the combustion chamber occurs at least once a day. This ensures low losses and efficient fuel utilization. The sealed ash drawer also ensures clean and effortless ash removal.

Ecotronic intelligent control unit
The Vitoligno 300-C pellet boiler is easy to operate with the weather-compensated Ecotronic digital control unit. It controls three heating circuits with a mixer, two heating circuits with a mixer and DHW heating, or one heating circuit with a mixer, a solar circuit, and DHW heating. An additional, fourth heating circuit with a mixer can be connected via the KM-BUS. The pellet boiler, heating circuits, and cylinder temperature are intuitively controlled. Adjusting all relevant parameters is easy thanks to the clear display with graphic options and multi-line text prompts.
Control unit prepared for combination with solar thermal system
When combined with a solar thermal system, current solar energy data is displayed directly on the display. This data includes collector and cylinder temperatures, as well as solar thermal system operating hours.
Room controller and cascade controller
When combined with the optional Vitotrol 350-C, the pellet boiler can be controlled from the living area. With a five-inch 16:9 touchscreen, operation couldn’t be simpler. The system can be expanded to 24 control circuits using control modules. These can be used for heating circuits, DHW heating, or in conjunction with a district heating system. The Vitotrol 350-C can also be used as a cascade controller for up to four wood-fired boilers.
Suitable accessories
For pellet storage facilities, a modular 4- or 8-way stick changer is available. Suction sticks, evenly distributed throughout the pellet storage area, transport pellets from the storage area to the pellet boiler. This system is controlled by the Ecotronic boiler control unit and ensures uniform pellet unloading from the pellet storage area through automatic stick changer.
The flexible layout of the stick system allows it to be used in various room formats (for example, L-shaped, very elongated rooms, or even partitioned storage rooms). Since a sloped floor is not required, the usable area increases by up to 1/3, ensuring optimal utilization of the pellet storage space.
