Vitoligno 300-C pellet boiler with a capacity of up to 101 kW: Convenient heating center for automatic loading of pellets
Numerous automatic functions
The Vitoligno 300-C biomass boiler offers numerous automatic features that make operation particularly convenient. These include an efficient, energy-efficient automatic ignition system and fully automatic ash removal from the grate and heat exchanger. The vertical heat exchanger design results in very little ash deposition, allowing for long intervals between cleanings. Turbulators ensure consistent, efficient heat exchange and reduce dust emissions. Emptying the large, sealed, and portable ash drawer is virtually dust-free.
Efficiency and environmental responsibility
The Vitoligno 300-C boiler boasts an efficiency of up to 96 percent when using pellets. Thanks to a weather-compensated control unit and a 1:3 modulation range, the biomass boiler precisely adapts its output to the current heating demand. This means the Vitoligno 300-C boasts impressively low fuel consumption.
Staged combustion ensures high efficiency and low emissions, while primary and secondary air control is supported by Lambda. The secondary combustion chamber, designed using CFD modeling, ensures optimal mixing of combustion products with secondary air. This is due to both the narrowed diameter and the twisted fireclay bricks of the flame tube promoting turbulent mixing of combustion products for complete burnout. Highly heat-resistant silicon carbide bricks also contribute to the creation of a hot combustion zone. This results in particularly low emissions, meeting the requirements of BImSchV Stage 2.
Flexible fuel supply
Depending on requirements and application, the boiler can be supplied with pellets either via a flexible screw conveyor or a vacuum system. Filling the pellet hopper is particularly quiet, thanks to innovative sound optimization
.
To save space, the fuel feed can be installed on either the right or left (from 80 kW). For units up to 70 kW, the fuel feed is located at the rear. This allows for flexible and compact equipment placement when wall-mounted on the right side. No maintenance or inspection is required from this side.
Innovative and versatile management
The integrated Ecotronic control unit can regulate the following:
- Up to three heating circuits with mixer
- Two heating circuits with a mixer and DHW heating
- One heating circuit with mixer, one solar circuit and DHW heating
- Fourth heating circuit with mixer for connection via KM-BUS
Remote control
When combined with the optional Vitotrol 350-C, the boiler can be controlled from the living area. The system can be expanded to 24 control circuits using control modules. These can be used for heating circuits, DHW heating, or in conjunction with a district heating system. A clear, color touchscreen with graphic capabilities ensures simple and intuitive operation.
The Vitotrol 350-C can also be used as a room controller, control loop expander, and cascade controller for up to four wood-fired boilers. This allows for a combination of different fuel types and boilers with different outputs. Additionally, an additional gas/oil boiler can be connected as a peak-load boiler.
Suitable accessories
Accessories for the Vitoligno 300-C include extensive pellet storage and feeding systems. For pellet storage areas without a sloping floor, a modular 4- or 8-way stick switching system is available. Suction sticks, evenly distributed throughout the pellet storage area, transport the pellets from the storage area to the boiler.
The stick system layout is flexible and suitable for various room formats (e.g., L-shaped, very elongated, or even partitioned storage areas). Since this system does not require a sloped floor, the usable area increases by up to 1/3, ensuring optimal utilization of the pellet storage space.
