ETA HACK VR log splitter boiler from 250 to 500 kW – high quality and flexibility

In times of rising raw material prices, it can sometimes become problematic to heat large spaces – but not if you rely on locally produced anti-crisis fuels such as wood chips. Chips are produced from low-use wood, including material obtained as a result of thinning forests, chips after hurricanes and sawmill waste from local woodworking enterprises. It is crushed in powerful shredders in accordance with pre-set standards. Chip sizes are standardized. Sizes from P16S-P31S are suitable for our systems.

Coarse chips are not a problem

Each ETA chip discharge system is well designed, tested and ready for the most demanding application: transporting large, uneven chips. In order to transport pieces of wood up to 12 cm long, all components must work perfectly. Efficiency starts in the bunker. Chips are fed to the screw conveyor through large open chutes. The discharge plate prevents the material from pressing too much on the discharge screw conveyor, allowing discharge to a height of up to five meters. Thanks to the spacious discharge nozzles in the closed channel, bottlenecks are prevented. Smooth material transport is ensured by a progressive screw conveyor, which additionally loosens the chips. The modular design makes it easy to install. Screw conveyor modules ranging in size from 25 to 200 cm are manufactured and aligned on automated machines, and the specially shaped chute channels only need to be fastened with screws.

The right temperature in the combustion chamber

Thanks to the constantly monitored flue gas recirculation, the combustion chamber maintains the desired temperature. In order to always achieve optimal emissions and efficiency when using different fuels, the combustion chamber temperature is ideal and therefore the flue gas recirculation must be constantly monitored. As with the propellant fan, the high-efficiency fan is used to keep the combustion temperature in the degassing zones above 800 °C but below 1000 °C at all times. In addition, the heat load on the components is kept as low as possible, which significantly increases the service life of the boiler. Excessively high combustion temperatures can also lead to unwanted slag formation.

For burning both sawdust and pellets

Whether you’re using wood chips or pellets, this grate feed boiler has everything you need for safe, clean and flexible heating. Flue gas recirculation is constantly monitored. This improves the flow of gas. The grate cools more efficiently and the boiler temperature remains stable in a range that not only ensures complete combustion of the fuel, but also counteracts slag formation. Low pressure control ensures safety, and Lambda control ensures maximum efficiency with minimal emissions. Thanks to the absolutely reliable fuel supply system and the multi-cyclone dust separator, optimum ease of operation is guaranteed.
