Vitosol 141-FM hot water solar battery is suitable for retrofit and new construction projects. In terms of its size, performance, and price, it is designed specifically for detached homes. It is an environmentally responsible, efficient and economically interesting solution for heating hot water with free solar energy.
The set consists of two Vitosol 100-FM flat collectors (SVKF/SVKG type) and a Vitocell 100-B/-W dual-mode hot water cylinder with a capacity of 250 liters. This is the perfect way to expand the system at the same time as replacing the old boiler or is ideal for new systems where the use of solar energy is standard.

ThermProtect prevents overheating
An intelligent absorbent layer protects the manifolds from overheating. Viessmann’s patented ThermProtect technology prevents further energy absorption after a certain temperature has been reached, when the solar cylinder is fully heated.
ThermProtect also results in a higher performance of Vitosol 100-FM compared to conventional flat plate manifolds, as a wider selection of sizes is possible.
Dual-mode cylinder with Ceraprotect enamel coating
The DHW cylinder with a long-lasting Ceraprotect enamel coating has two indirect coils for heating with solar collectors and reheating with a boiler. For the solar circuit, the factory has already installed Solar-Divicon with a solar collector control unit (Vitosolic 100, type SD1 or SM1 solar collector control module). Highly efficient and efficient insulation around the perimeter reduces heat loss.
Easy installation
All appliances and components fit together perfectly, making installation as easy as possible. When integrated on the roof, flat plate collectors are attached directly to the roof structure. No tools are required to hydraulically connect the two manifolds. The user benefits from low investment and fast installation of a solar hot water system.
