Ideal for residential buildings
Built entirely by Viessmann
The Vitosol 111-F solar system is an off-grid system consisting of panels and a cylinder. The cylinder cavity is designed to avoid a sanitary expansion tank, which optimizes space and costs.
Fasteners made of high-quality materials
Whether pitched or flat roofs, the components supplied by Viessmann are developed in-house and certified for wind and snow, made of stainless steel or high-quality aluminium to prevent corrosion over time.
Continuous profile frame construction
The panel design adopts a seamless aluminum frame with a continuous profile. This type of construction provides strength and reliability for many years
Vitosol 111-F Solar Thermal System
Natural Circulation Solar Thermal Panel Solution for Hot Water Production
Benefits at a glance
- Flat Solar Panel with Highly Selective Coating for High Solar Energy Utilization
- Versatile use on pitched and flat roofs thanks to the installation system made of corrosion-resistant material (stainless steel or aluminium)
- Built-in boiler with Ceraprotect enamel for high quality domestic water
- Easy installation and commissioning
- Closed solar loop and use of corrosion-resistant materials for long service life and high reliability
- High operational safety thanks to the integrated pressure/temperature safety valve.
Vitosol 111-F Solar Panel is a (factory-made) natural circulation solar thermal system with flat solar panels and a highly insulated steel cylinder for outdoor use, providing efficient domestic hot water production.
Tax deductions and heat bill
The installation of solar panels can be included in the activities covered by the 110% super eco-bonus, both “lead” and “lead”. It is also possible to access 50% and 65% deductions for conversion and energy efficiency, as well as incentives provided by Conto Termico 2.0. Certificates are available upon request
How Does a Natural Circulation Solar Panel Work?
The solar panel is filled with antifreeze fluid to transfer heat from the panel to the cylinder. The panel absorbs the sun’s radiation and heats the liquid, which expands and naturally circulates into the cylinder cavity. Here, the heat is transferred to the sanitary side, and the cooled liquid flows back to the bottom of the panel.
In a solar thermal panel with natural circulation, this cycle occurs spontaneously, no circulation pump is used, and therefore there is no electricity consumption.
