Multilayer convection heating surfaces made of three-layer pipes

The Vitoplex 300’s multilayer convection heating surfaces consist of telescopically arranged steel tubes pressed into one another for ideal heat transfer. The inner tube, with its folded linear fins, creates a heating surface 2.5 times larger than that of smooth tubes.

Heat transfer occurs proportionally due to the varying gaps between the pressing points. Therefore, the rear portion of the laminated tubes transfers less heat to the boiler water, as the combustion products circulating there are no longer as hot. This keeps the surface temperature above the dew point, preventing condensation and corrosion.

Convenient and high-performance Vitotronic control unit

The user-friendly Vitotronic control unit with a large color touchscreen ensures quick commissioning with its wizard function. The boiler can be connected directly to the internet for remote monitoring via the integrated LAN interface. The Vitosoft 300 service tool communicates directly via WiFi. Energy consumption is clearly displayed on the control unit’s energy display.
