Vitoplex LS - recommended for commercial, retail and industrial environments
The Vitoplex LS boiler is designed for a permissible operating pressure of 1 bar (high pressure), but this can be reduced to 0.5 bar (low pressure) depending on operating conditions. Typical applications for this boiler include laundries and bakeries with their low-pressure steam requirements.
The Vitoplex LS is a compact three-pass boiler for low-pressure steam production in the capacity range of 0.26 to 2.2 t/h. This boiler’s design has been tried and tested in thousands of applications. This boiler is designed for a permissible operating pressure of 1 bar (high pressure). Depending on requirements, the operating pressure can be reduced to 0.5 bar (low pressure).
Good steam generation and steam removal is ensured by a high water content along with wide gaps between individual flue pipes, as well as between built-in parts and the boiler jacket.
Low material loading due to the fully water-cooled rear reversing chamber and the absence of a refractory lining ensures extremely low stress in the boiler structure.
The boiler’s versatility under load fluctuations is particularly appreciated and is due to its high water content.
The design prevents residual moisture from forming in the steam, even in the event of sudden or high steam demand. High-quality steam is supplied continuously. A large steam chamber, with a correspondingly large evaporator and integrated steam dehumidifier, supports this flexible functionality.
Very low combustion chamber volume loading combined with a three-pass design allows this boiler to comply with even the most stringent emission limits.
