The Viessmann ViCare app offers you new ways to control your heating system via the Internet. The graphical interface of the ViCare app is simple and intuitive to operate the heating system. This means more convenience and safety, and allows you to use the potential to save energy and thus reduce the carbon footprint of your home.

The ViCare app provides you with an overview of the current status of the heating system. It gives you peace of mind and helps with planning. For example, you can program a different turn-on time for each day according to your needs. The app also allows you to activate Comfort mode, also known as Party mode. This increases the heating time, for example, if you are planning a dinner party that will continue until your usual bedtime. There is also an option to quickly select an economy mode. This allows you to lower the room temperature when you leave the house for the day. Do you want to take a long hot bath? Just turn on the “I want hot water” function.

The ViCare app allows you to manage and monitor your heating system. It can control up to three heating circuits. Here’s what the app lets you do*:
- View the status of the entire system at a glance and in real time
- Preferred temperatures can be set for heating circuits or individual rooms
- Set the switching time of heating and hot water in just a few steps with the heating time assistant
- Set your preferred DHW temperature
- Display of gas and electricity consumption as well as solar energy

At the top: automatic hydraulic balancing
If your heating system is not optimally adjusted, heat will be distributed unevenly throughout the building. This not only affects comfort, but also the efficiency of the heating system. Hydraulic balancing can help. This process, which is usually done manually by a heating system installer, improves energy efficiency by 15 percent. ViCare makes it even easier to exploit this potential. If you replace all conventional radiator and floor thermostats with ViCare thermostats and connect them to a heat generator, fully automatic balancing is possible. Since pre-adjusting the thermostats is not required, balancing the hydraulic system is also possible in retrofit projects.

Installing the ViCare App
If you have a new Viessmann heating system with built-in WiFi (One Base), you can download the ViCare app and connect it directly to your heating appliance. The app will walk you through the account setup process step by step. Older heating systems can work with Vitoconnect. This interface securely connects your heating system to the Viessmann Cloud so that you can control it via ViCare using an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.
