The Vitodens 200-W wall-mounted gas condensing boiler is ideal for use in apartment buildings, commercial spaces, and public institutions. Designed and manufactured by Viessmann, this boiler is the only one of its kind in the world. As a modular cascade system, it is not only cost-effective but also offers space-saving solutions. Cascades with rated heating outputs ranging from two at 49 kW to six at 99 kW can be combined, even in spaces with low ceilings (as low as 1.9 meters).
Economy and smoothness: high efficiency with any gas mixture
Modern Viessmann gas condensing boilers are equipped with the patented Lambda Pro Plus® combustion control system. It adapts your appliance to changing operating conditions, such as fluctuating gas quality or different gas types. Automatic control ensures consistently high system efficiency. Your contractor won’t have to reconfigure these boilers, and flue gas inspection intervals have been extended to three years. This saves time and money.
H₂ ready: all set for climate-neutral heating with gas
Modern Viessmann gas condensing boilers are H₂-ready. This means they are designed for natural gas with up to 20% hydrogen (H₂). From 2025, condensing boilers will be able to operate with 100% hydrogen. This means you already have an appliance that is ready for future changes in the gas supply without the need for any major modifications. Inox-Radial stainless steel heat exchangers: efficiency and durability
Stainless steel makes all the difference. The corrosion-resistant Inox-Radial stainless steel heat exchanger is at the heart of the Vitodens 200-W. It converts the energy consumed into heat extremely efficiently, with virtually no loss, and a virtually unrivaled efficiency of 98 percent. Furthermore, the highly durable, high-quality stainless steel ensures reliability.
Reliable burner with a long service life
The MatriX cylinder burner boasts a long service life thanks to its stainless steel MatriX mesh. The integrated Lambda Pro Control Plus combustion controller automatically adjusts combustion according to changes in gas type. This ensures consistently high energy efficiency and future-proofs the burner in liberalized gas markets and where biogas is used in conjunction with natural gas. Lambda Pro Control Plus also helps reduce maintenance costs, as flue gas testing is only required every three years.
Vitotronic 300-K cascade control unit
The new Vitotronic 300-K is available for cascade control. A simple text display with graphic support ensures excellent ease of use. If required, the heating system can be connected to a building automation system via the Vitogate 200.

Switching from LL gas to P gas no longer requires access to the gas valve, thanks to the Lambda Pro Control Plus system. This is because the combustion controller automatically adjusts to the appropriate gas type. The same applies to switching from natural gas to liquefied gas. The following video shows how it works.
