Product usage
Vitocal 350-G achieves high flow temperatures of up to 70 °C and is therefore suitable for radiator heating retrofit projects.

Vitocal 350-G: Heat pump with high flow temperature up to 70 °C

The powerful Vitocal 350-G brine/water heat pump is one of the quietest heat generators of its kind thanks to its low-vibration design.

Where the need for heat is even greater, the Vitocal 350-G can operate in a two-stage mode with an additional heat pump of the same type or with the Vitocal 300-G in a master/slave system, delivering up to 84.6 kW of power. At an early stage of system design, this configuration allows for the optimal selection of heat pumps for a particular building.

Vitocal 350-G achieves high flow temperatures of up to 70°C. This is achieved by using an EVI (Enhanced Steam Injection) refrigerant circuit, where steam injection cools the refrigerant, allowing it to be compressed more tightly than would otherwise be possible. This means that the Vitocal 350-G is also suitable for retrofit projects that include radiator heating systems.

For information on the refrigerant/refrigerant circuit, please refer to the data sheet (PDF).

In the system, the master/slave Vitocal 350-G, as the master, provides a high flow temperature to heat the DHW, while the Vitocal 300-G (slave, without its own control unit) covers the required heat load. The EVI refrigerant circuit allows the Vitocal 350-G to achieve a very high COP of up to 5.0, which contributes to low operating costs.

The Vitocal 350-G heat pump is already prepared to operate cost-effectively with self-generated energy from a photovoltaic system. The intelligent control unit ensures maximum consumption of self-generated energy and therefore reduces energy costs.

The EHPA quality mark serves as a confirmation of COP (coefficient of efficiency). The German EHPA Quality Mark Committee has confirmed that the Vitocal 350-G heat pump from Viessmann meets the requirements of the EHPA quality mark.

Benedict Doll – Start at Home

Even as a child, Benedict Doll spent a lot of time outside, training for biathlon. However, climate change means that snow is becoming increasingly rare in the region where it lives. Therefore, the 2017 biathlon sprint world champion and his family decided to focus on innovation and sustainability while renovating their home with a heat pump and a photovoltaic system to contribute to climate protection.

Biathlete Benedikt Doll's home in the Black Forest is very important to him.
