Energy Management allows you to view your home's energy flows in real time on your smartphone or tablet. This includes values ​​for photovoltaic energy generated and local energy consumption, such as heat pump operation. Energy Management makes these functions available for the Vitocharge VX3 energy storage system, the new Vitocal 25x-A heat pumps, and heat pumps in existing buildings with Vitoconnect installed before 2016.

The Future and Energy Efficiency

Energy Management helps conserve resources and reduce costs through energy-efficient, optimized operation of all electrical and heating systems in the home. The Energy Management system is optionally integrated into the new electronic platform and can be accessed by the client through the ViCare app .

In addition to managing components, Energy Management also links online devices into a single system, including Vitocal heat pumps , the Vitocharge VX3 energy storage device, hot water cylinders , and energy-consuming appliances. Users can then effectively manage the system for optimal operation. This allows multiple system components in the home to be managed in a way that conserves resources and saves energy.

  • Displaying energy flows in the ViCare and ViGuide applications

Commissioning and monitoring

The Energy Management system can be easily commissioned and activated by the sales partner using ViGuide. Viessmann partners can monitor the system using ViGuide as usual (the appearance may vary depending on the version installed at the customer and heating contractor).
