Monobloc heat pump
The Vitocal 060-A compact monobloc heat pump is equipped with all the components needed to heat the DHW efficiently. In addition to the heat pump module, a 250 or 180 litre DHW cylinder and a control unit are housed in a compact housing.
Vitocal 060-A can use both outside air and recirculated air to heat DHW efficiently and economically. It is suitable for new and existing detached houses. Ideal applications include situations where the indoor air needs to be cooled, such as in a wine cellar or a refrigerated pantry.
The DHW heat pump is supplied either without an internal indirect heat exchanger (type TOE-ze) for mono operation, or with an integrated indirect heat exchanger (type TOS-ze) for reheating through the boiler or solar thermal system. The dry immersion heater, which is very impervious to scale, can be replaced without draining the water from the cylinder (supplied complete with type TOE-ze; complete with type TOS-ze).
Available for recirculated air or outdoor air
The recirculated air version of Vitocal 060-A uses air directly from the room where it is installed. Part of the heat is extracted from the intake air and raised by the heat pump to the usable temperature (up to 62 °C in heat pump only mode). Humidity is removed from the rooms, thereby protecting the fabric of the building and improving the quality of life for all concerned.
With the help of outdoor air adapters (included as standard), Vitocal 060-A can be easily switched to outdoor air mode. It works efficiently in outdoor temperatures as low as -5°C. Depending on the ducts used for outdoor and exhaust air, Vitocal 060-A can be installed in rooms with ceiling heights of 2 meters or more.
Adjustable control unit
The Vitocal 060-A is pre-configured at the factory and is therefore immediately ready for use. However, these settings can be changed individually using the control unit’s programming unit. For example, you can set different work programs – Eco, Auto, Boost or Holidays – or change the temporary hot water heating program.
In addition, if more hot water is required, the authorized contractor can change the sampling profile from L to XL.
