Efficiency is an important aspect of building heating. This is because it can help you conserve resources and reduce costs at the same time. Optimally selected heating system components create the foundation for efficient operation. Viessmann offers owners of single-family homes, apartment buildings, and large residential buildings precisely this: heat generators that not only operate reliably and efficiently on their own, but also as part of a complete system. The product range includes solutions for all energy sources—renewable and fossil—and can also be combined.
All modern Viessmann heating systems are compatible with smart homes. Integrated interfaces allow systems to be connected online and controlled via apps . Time of day and location are irrelevant. This significantly increases convenience. It also helps improve heating system efficiency. Digital services and the energy management systems they include help identify and utilize potential savings.
With so many factors to consider, choosing the right heating system can be challenging. Experienced installers are best placed to help you determine which heating system will best meet your individual requirements. Before your consultation, we recommend reviewing the Viessmann product catalog to get a general overview of our product range. This will allow you to filter our extensive product selection by characteristics such as application. The Viessmann product search allows you to find even more detailed product offerings.
Vitocal 150-A air source heat pump
A heat pump can use energy stored in the ground, air, and water for heating. This process is particularly climate-friendly when using renewable or "green" electricity. Dual-mode operation with other heat generators is also possible. This can be useful, for example, in older buildings and large residential units. However, with Viessmann Vitocal heat pumps, homeowners can generate more than just heat. Natural and active cooling ensure a pleasant temperature in living spaces during the summer.
Using the environment as a heat source requires innovative technologies. If you want to do this without a large investment, you can lease your new heat pump. Viessmann Wäärme offers various service packages, each with maintenance and repairs included in the monthly payments. In addition to heat pumps, oil and gas heating systems are also available for lease.
Vacuum tube collector Vitosol 300-TM
Solar thermal technology is particularly suitable for supplementing a heating system. Available solar energy is used to generate hot water and back up the existing heat generator. This helps reduce CO2 emissions and heating costs, especially when using fossil fuels. Viessmann's Vitosol flat-plate and tube collectors offer a rooftop solution for every home. Thanks to their high efficiency and low heat loss, tube collectors, in particular, offer a good return even in tight spaces and on less-than-optimally positioned roofs. Pellet boiler Vitoligno 300-C
Solid fuel boilers allow you to heat your home with renewable fuels that are often readily available locally. You benefit from relatively low and stable fuel prices and enjoy climate-friendly heating. This is because pellets and logs only emit as much CO2 when burned as they absorbed during tree growth.
Vitoligno solid fuel boilers are suitable for high heating needs. They can also be combined with fossil fuel-fired heat generators. However, this requires sufficient space for the appliances and fuel storage.
Wall-mounted gas condensing boiler Vitodens 200-W
Advanced gas heating systems combine the benefits of proven technology and innovative equipment. Thanks to condensing technology, they utilize the energy stored in fossil fuels particularly efficiently. The wide power range of Viessmann gas boilers also allows for a wide range of applications: while the compact Vitodens wall-mounted gas condensing boilers are suitable for small living spaces, the Vitocrossal gas condensing boilers provide sufficient heat for larger apartment buildings. Furthermore, both model lines offer units that can operate as hybrid systems, using up to 20% hydrogen.
Oil condensing heating systems provide high operational reliability and efficient fuel use, even in areas without a gas connection. The technology is promising thanks to the use of "green" fuels—liquid fuels produced, for example, from biomass. Viessmann offers oil heating systems that burn conventional fuel oil and "green" fuels, separately or in combination, and can also be supplemented with renewable energy sources. This saves valuable resources.
With a Viessmann hybrid heating system , homeowners can utilize a variety of energy sources for heating. Both renewable energy sources and fossil fuels can be used. The Hybrid Pro Control energy manager provides the foundation for optimal interaction between the individual components. Depending on the selected mode, it ensures the heating system operates particularly economically or energy efficiently. Hybrid heating systems are ideal for taking the first step toward renewable energy production. Initially, the existing heating system is supplemented with a renewable energy generator, such as a heat pump.
Low-temperature oil and gas boilers with traditional non-condensing technology reliably cover the high heating needs of large apartment buildings. Viessmann's product range includes three-pass boilers, which provide relatively clean and economical combustion of fossil fuels. Low-temperature Vitoplex gas and oil boilers can also be equipped with a stainless steel flue gas/water heat exchanger. Using condensing technology increases the standard seasonal efficiency (up to DIN) of the heating system.
Digitalization and the energy transition also present challenges for Viessmann. But at the same time, they represent the greatest opportunities in our company's history, which spans over 100 years. One thing is certain: together with our partners, we are making the most of them.
By upgrading your heating system, you can reduce energy consumption by up to 30 percent, thereby saving on heating costs. We'll explain how it works.
