The low-pressure boilers of the Vitoplex series are characterised by a low combustion chamber load and particularly clean combustion. In three-way boilers, combustion products are removed from the combustion chamber through three, not two, chimneys. Not only does this reduce contaminants, but it also results in lower energy costs – all thanks to Vitoplex's efficient operation and lower fuel consumption. In the following section, we give an overview of the Vitoplex model range and the technical characteristics of the individual models.
Viessmann Vitoplex are low-temperature gas or oil boilers with a capacity of 405 to 2000 kilowatts (kW) for use in large residential, commercial and local government buildings, in new construction and retrofit projects. The Vitoplex range is divided into two tiers, both technically and price-wise, the Vitoplex 200 and the Vitoplex 300. Both models are characterized by economical and environmentally responsible operation and extremely high standard seasonal [DIN] efficiency. In addition, they are equipped with an easy-to-operate Vitotronic digital control system with a colour touchscreen. The built-in LAN and WiFi interface ensure uninterrupted Internet connection and communication with the service interface. Along with these similarities, there are also differences in the Vitoplex series, which we will briefly discuss below.
The Vitoplex 200 compact steel boiler is available in a power range of 440 to 1950 kW. Its compact design makes it easy to manoeuvre in the boiler room – even in confined spaces, which is particularly advantageous when retrofitting existing buildings. However, the Vitoplex 200 has a large volume of water. This allows for longer burner run times and shorter switching intervals, making it environmentally friendly.
The particularly economical and durable Vitoplex 300 steel boiler is available in the power range of 405 and 200 kW. Its multi-layer convective heating surfaces made of triplex pipes ensure high operational reliability and a particularly long service life. It is also equipped with an integrated Therm-Control starting system, which makes it unnecessary to constantly increase the return temperature - this saves installation time and additional costs.
