Vitosol 300-TM Vacuum Tube Manifold
The high-performance Vitosol 300-TM manifold is one of the most efficient models on the market and is particularly recommended for use in confined spaces. The absorber angle can be adjusted by +/- 25 degrees to ensure exceptionally high performance, even when the sun is in a less favorable position.
The collector can be installed and used in any position and is intended for use on detached houses and apartment buildings. It is equipped with a ThermProtect automatic temperature-dependent shut-off, which is activated if heat dissipation does not occur for a long period of time at a high level of insolation.
Vitosol 300-TM is currently the only manifold on the market that can be installed horizontally (maximum tube inclination 3 degrees) and includes an automatic shut-off depending on the ThermProtect temperature. It prevents overheating of collectors in the absence of heat dissipation and a high level of insolation. Therefore, Vitosol 300-TM is also suitable for buildings that are not used all year round, such as residential buildings during the holiday period.
The manifold works on the principle of a heat pipe, where the heat carrier does not pass directly through the tubes. Instead, the fluid evaporates inside the heat pipe and transfers the absorbed heat by condensing to the heat transfer fluid through a Duotec twin-tube heat exchanger. This method guarantees optimal heat transfer.
Vitosol 300-TM is designed for an exceptionally long service life. This is achieved through high-quality, corrosion-resistant materials, including glass, aluminum, copper, and stainless steel. The absorber is an integral part of the vacuum tube. This protects it from weathering and pollution and ensures a high energy yield for many years.
The roof mounting system with rafter anchors simplifies the task of fixing the manifolds. The rafter hooks and flanges are designed to be attached directly to the rafters, allowing the collectors to be perfectly integrated into any type of roof covering. Two DIN rails also save additional installation time.
In multi-collector systems, dark blue protective panels create a smooth visual transition between the collector housing and absorber surfaces. Locking caps in the base rail in the same color as the housing prevent the tubes from slipping. If maintenance is required, the heat pipe tubes can be replaced quickly and easily without having to drain the system thanks to their dry connection.
